Saw an interesting article this morning on our our local tv web site about passwords and online security. It never ceases to amaze me when we have a new client ask for the email passwords to be their first name, etc. this is NEVER a good idea. To protect your identity online, you need to seriously consider ‘tighter’ passwords. Our new web hosting control panel actually has a built in tool that scores the strength of a password or automatically generates one for you. The bottom is line is, make em tough and ONLY known to you.
Here’s a list of passwords NOT to use.
