How To Enable Spam Assassin.

By default, when we setup your hosting account, we turn spam assassin on. Spam Assassin tries it's best to keep you from getting unsolicited emails about nigerian lottery winnings, viagri information and any other type of recognized garbage. Please note, nobody is perfect, spam assassin works very well, but is not entirely SPAM proof as spammers change the rules daily.

If you notice you are getting a great deal of spam (an unusual increase) it is possible that your cpanl was upgraded or updated. When this updating occurs, unfortunately, it turns spam assassin off. You'll need to switch it back on and everything should return to normal.

Log into your cpanel: (http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel)

Login with the master user name and password.

On Cpanel, within the 'Mail' section you will see an icon that says Spam Assassin. Click it. Make certain that Spam Assassin is enabled, if not, click the button that says Enable. You can also play with sensitivity settings here to make Spam Assassin more or less strict with it's filtering.

Once you are finished up, click logout and have a great spam free day.
