How Do I Setup Outlook or Outlook Express POP 3 Email?
Start Outlook or Outlook Express. Click Tools and choose Accounts.
In the "Internet Accounts Windows" click Add and choose Mail.
Fill in your name and click Next. Click "I already have an e-mail address that I'd like to use" and fill in your email address.
Click Next.
On the "Email Servers Name" page, fill in the server information.
"My incoming mail server is a POP3 server." The incoming mail server should be your domain name, with the extension (yourdomain.com). Please note, you do not need to add smtp or pop 3 before the domain. It should ONLY be your domain.
The Outgoing Mail (SMTP) should also be your domain name with the extension (yourdomain.com) unless your ISP requires the use of their mail server to send mail (MSN, Earthlink/Mindspring, and AOL are several examples; there are others). It doesn't happen often, but some ISP's don't play nicely with our server settings. If you hit send and receive and receive an error regarding SENDING emails, double check the outgoing server settings first, if they are correct, you'll need to get outgoing mail settings from your ISP. You can typically google your isp's name like so: road runner outgoing mail settings, etc.
Click Next.
Enter your mailbox username in the account name field, and the password below. Click Next and then Finish. For users other than the master account user, the login username in the last step must be set to the full user@yourdomain.com designation for that mailbox.
